Since 1998, I have built over 30 custom guitars, several of which are in the hands of talented and famous musicians. Along the way I learned from many excellent luthiers and guitar experts including John Greven, Harry Fleischmann, and Bob Westbrook.

Most recently I had the good fortune to put in a stint at the Breedlove guitar factory in Bend, Oregon. My responsibilities started right after the guitars and necks were buffed to their final shine, and ended after neck and body were joined, fretted and setup.

Over the course of my career I’ve built a wide variety of instruments, including Mandolins, Dreadnought guitars, and violins. In recent years I’ve focused on building two specific models of small-body vintage style guitar, sized to be comparable to historic Martin 00 and 0 sizes.

I’ve enjoyed perfecting this design and have found that these instruments have a beautiful aesthetic that draws on 1800 parlor style instruments, and that they combine playability, smaller size, exceptional volume, and an outstanding, well rounded sound.
